    Why can't google customer service give out their names?

    I found that really strange today, when I said "thank you for your help whats was your name again" and the guy said "I'm a google rep, we are not allowed to give out our names, company policy"

    Never heard that before, weird. Sounded like some mafia stuff.

                          Weird. I never noticed in the past. I have a account rep who does have a name. Not sure if it's a fake one or not but I know their first name.

                                  because they refuse to make up fake names like all the other outsourcing services. I love the pakistanis that tell me there name is bob or scott. fucking hilarious

                                          So they should give them 'phone names'. When I was a travel agent we all used names that weren't our real names. For years even the people I worked with called me 'Grace' which is kind of funny to me now.
