that's cool and all, but i think if we put a chimp in the president's seat the world would be happy as there'd still be no GWB .02

the thing with Obama is that there are too big hopes for the 'change'

he won't be able to change that much in the US because of the bad economy and also because the president just has to be 'mainstream', he can't make a revolution suddenly

same thing goes for international politics - if he started to act like the international community expects/wants him to act, the Republicans will portay him as an betrayer

there will be some change, but it won't be as big as lots of people hope
