The IBD poll is 46% Obama to 44% McCain with 8% undecided.
This is the most accurate poll of the last few elections and in 2004 this poll was off by less than 1/2 of 1%!!!!

The polls have been wrong so many times, they are not accurate at all. First, you have no idea who they are talking to (have you ever been polled...not that kind you pervert) :winkwink:

Second, the questions can determine the answers

and 3rd, people lie or change their minds

Remember, the media called 2000 early on for Gore, the media predicted a Kerry win in 2004, Carter was supposed to beat Reagan and of course the infamous DEWEY WINS.

Nothing is certain until all the votes are counted
and then there could be a court battle

load up on alcohol and ammo

Learn your history I cant stress it enough. Also once again all these people going back and forth about taxes do you make over 250k if not you are not going to get taxed no matter what bullshit the pundits are telling you.

Lets not forget that John McCain sponsored legislation that would have essentially put most social networking sites out of business, perhaps even this forum. He has also sponsored legislation that could make someone caught with public nudity charges banned from the net.

His ignorance in the net should scare those who make their living on it. There is a reason why every major web property is heavily supporting Obama.

Ok.. Im voting twice..

Obama.
:thumbsup

im going to engage in voter fraud and vote for my grandparents too.
In Oregon we are 100% mail in ballots. Its so easy to buy or just take people's ballots.

The black people out here should really take advantage of this. Go get Whitey's ballot.
And vote with me, vote for the negro.

Proposals are proposed and shot down all day long, every day. I wouldn't vote against a party just because of one bad proposal that was utlimately not even implemented.

I will say though that the $250,000 threshold does indeed hurt some people making under that figure. For instance, if someone had wealthy parents they may worry about Obama increasing the death tax or capitol gains. This may have an effect on their inheritance.

But the popular vote isn't what really matters. Take a look at polls by state and how the resulting electoral votes fall. Even the most Republican favorable electoral polls show Obama with well over the 270 electoral votes required to win.

Except for the Feinstein part you took the words right out of my mouth.

If Obama is elected however I will be happy for the African Americans in this country. Cheesey yes but I think it is one positive out of that outcome.

flashfire 11-04-2008 02:38 AM

anyone who would cast a vote that would result in a 33% chance of Palin being president (chance John will die based on age stats) is an absolute retard

She has zero business even being in this race, scary to think of her in charge

VicD 11-04-2008 02:49 AM

Obama...

I do believe that government should have a bit of every man for himself attitude. But currently this attitude has went overboard. Always does.. So we flip to the Dems for a 'reset'.

The guy that started CountryWide and IndyMac should NOT be a $100,000,000 man. He is because it is every man for himself and this man found a way to pick the common mans pockets. Then his companies (he was kicked out of) found a way to do it AGAIN!

Praguer 11-04-2008 03:31 AM

Obama will probably win by a landslide.

I have a very close friend whose father is on the mid-top ranks on the McCain campaign. He said that their latest internal numbers, which of course won't release to the media, put Obama at 58%.

How true that is? I guess will see tonight.

we did flip the switch a couple years ago, they promised change, we got a dem senate and a dem house, so where's the change? Everything instead went to shit! Maybe thats their plan? Make it all fucked up and blame it on the president, then get a president in their that will do what they want, then really fuck it up!

Anal Hobbit 11-04-2008 03:16 PM

Ok. I changed my vote.

To Obama. Something came over me in that voting booth. I jerked off in there, and after I blew my load I was able to see things more clearly.
