As I stated millions of Americans are pissed off every election (usually between 40%-50% of the voters) so it will only be Obama supporters that are pissed off (approximately 50% of the voters) as the race appears to be close) and as I stated to my knowledge there has not been rioting because supporters of the losing nominee were pissed off. Yes it is a time of financial adjustment and no it is not worse than the "great depression" which began in 1929. We are not yet in a depression or even officially in a recession (though it is very close to an official recession). During the "great depression" unemployment was around 25% and the current unemployment rate is no where close to that. The political parties have used shady tatics since the very beginning, ie during one race in past history one nominee accused the other nominee of pimping his wife for votes and the press reported that. It gives a greater appearance of shady tactics because of the internet and 24/7 "news" outlets as well as the ever larger and larger sums of money being spent by the nominees on media ads but politics has always been a dirty game. There has always been problems with voting due to dishonesty, incompetance and inefficiency but became more apparent to the current generation because of the close race between Gore and Bush. There is not much that is different or new in the game of politics.Comment

The way your financial structure is build, you have problems even paying the interest on the national bebt. And you think borrowing another 1000 billions from the federal reserve will fix this?

some of the guys around here have been saying they have their guns ready because they claim the blacks are going to riot if Obama doesn't win.
but realize, these are people that do not even vote. I doubt they will actually go to jail for rioting about an election they didn't even participate in. But I mean in general... of course some assholes will do their thing. But overall I think its mostly bullshit hype.
