No, he is just going to carry over exactly what Bush has been doing...basically we'll be fucked.....you should ask is Obama wins what will happen? I see that more of a reason something is gonna happen....hope for peace and love amongst everyone.
Are you thick? America is only on the brink of collapse and catastrophe, if Obama dosen't get in people will be PISSED.
As I stated millions of Americans are pissed off every election (usually between 40%-50% of the voters) so it will only be Obama supporters that are pissed off (approximately 50% of the voters) as the race appears to be close) and as I stated to my knowledge there has not been rioting because supporters of the losing nominee were pissed off. In addition America is not on the brink of collapse but is experiencing some financial adjustments which America has experienced multiple times in its history.

How is this election any different other than one nominee is white and one is black?
The economy is in the shitter, things have never gone worse then right now since the 1920's, the political parties are using more shady tactics then usual, the voting machine problems etc etc etc.
There has never been a lower trust toward the US governement.

As of Sunday, more than 4 million in-person and mail-in ballots had been cast in Florida, a state hotly contested by presidential candidates Sen. John McCain and Sen. Barack Obama.
In Indiana, where in-person absentee voting will resume Monday morning and go until noon, turnout has been stronger than normal for the state. Close to 557,000 voters had submitted absentee ballots as of Sunday morning, said Jim Gavin, spokesman for the Indiana secretary of state. In 2004, 262,000 absentee voters cast ballots there. http://www.cnn.com/2008/POLITICS/11/...ing/index.html
In 2004, there was a very high voter turn out already. People are waiting in line 5+ hours to vote right now, and you tell me there isn't something special at this election ?

Yes it is a time of financial adjustment and no it is not worse than the "great depression" which began in 1929. We are not yet in a depression or even officially in a recession (though it is very close to an official recession). During the "great depression" unemployment was around 25% and the current unemployment rate is no where close to that. The political parties have used shady tatics since the very beginning, ie during one race in past history one nominee accused the other nominee of pimping his wife for votes and the press reported that. It gives a greater appearance of shady tactics because of the internet and 24/7 "news" outlets as well as the ever larger and larger sums of money being spent by the nominees on media ads but politics has always been a dirty game. There has always been problems with voting due to dishonesty, incompetance and inefficiency but became more apparent to the current generation because of the close race between Gore and Bush. There is not much that is different or new in the game of politics.

I think people are blindly naive, if they think one or the other persident will make a difference - It wont. They are both placed there to keep things as they are, with some minor ajustments
They are controlled by the same people standing out of sight. They are BOTH gonna put the United stats in to further debt. The US WILL go bankrupt - its just a matter of time. The way your financial structure is build, you have problems even paying the interest on the national bebt. And you think borrowing another 1000 billions from the federal reserve will fix this?
Its like watching a fat woman running around in the mall maxing out one creditcard to pay for the interest on the other.
You can only fix this by getting rid of your loans.
some of the guys around here have been saying they have their guns ready because they claim the blacks are going to riot if Obama doesn't win.
but realize, these are people that do not even vote. I doubt they will actually go to jail for rioting about an election they didn't even participate in. But I mean in general... of course some assholes will do their thing. But overall I think its mostly bullshit hype.
so yeah, they are saying there will be riots, but that is here in the south.
You want real riots, it has to be Los Angeles locs. They tear that shit up when the Lakers win even.
down here, they sit on porches and drink and talk shit like ballas or something.
