if you where sitting in a pow camp living an existence of torture year after year, would you say "No I will not leave, there were pow's here before me"?
He doesn't owe anyone shit, we owe people like him everything. We all know Obama will be elected, no reason to disgrace a guy who did his civic duty and beyond. That was my point.

personally, i think mccain stayed a pow because he knew if he left his father would have dis-owned him..
you should read the rolling stone article about mccain.
i have a lot of respect for veterans, but i do not respect mccain.. he is not a war hero, he was a pow..
the war hero's are the guys that have put their lives on the line or given up their lives for their fellow soldiers..
going to war doesnt make you a hero, it's what you do in the war that makes you a hero.
i am tired of the mccain camp using the title "war hero".. the real war hero's dont go around bragging about what they did and most are embarrassed when others try to make a big deal about what they did... thats the ones that werent killed in action.. :2 cents:
