Since when is loud unnecessary public noise "decoration"?

A few twits here put them on thier cars. I saw one kid pull his car out onto a main avenue here in Winnipeg this summer while I was riding my mountain bike, and as he pulled away his car made this loud freaky exhaust noise. Sure enough, 3 blocks later I ride by the kid who is now pulled over by the cops and getting a ticket.

Buying them and having them may be legal, but the noise isn't. Not here anyway. They'll get ticketed to death here until they grow up/smarten up/wise up and remove the damn things.

Come to think of it I haven't heard any in quite some time. :D
