I attended the SMPTE Trade show today in Hollywood...

I have to say it was my first tradeshow being around normal people in a long time.
It was very refreshing to sit alongside of the mainstream television, motion picture association, and RIAA's finest engineers todays.

I was fortunate enough to have attended a panel conducted by David Kushner, who is currently writing my book- as well as a contributing writer to Wired, Rolling Stone, Maxim and an accredited author.

People on the panel included the Executive Producer or Lost, Director of Shark Tale, The producers of Heroes, developers of video games for Sony and EA Sports.

I gained some great insight into the problems plagueing mainstream and I have to tell you they are experiencing the same challenges we are in the adult business. They are not only concerned with piracy, but more ove concerned with the abolishment of networks in the near future which is a real concern.

Ad based media on internet is accepted although not embraced.

They were talking about how archaic the networks are with technology however the MPAA loves new innovations like the Red Cam.

It was really a unique experience and a great opportunity to show off my newest technology company I am representing, http://www.pornstardiscovery.com is the adult version- I won't mention the name of the mainstream url here.

We have clips on our mainstream site of ET, Friends, and Shrek-

The producers and engineers I spoke to LOVED it.

PS I am throwing a party in Hollywood at " On the Rox" Nov 18th after the in store signing at Hustler Hollywood.

I will only have a handful of tickets for that available since the location is so small- but it's a press only event that will be very PIMP as always...

Anyone in town early for the Webmaster Access can hit me up the day before the show to see if I got some passes.

Cool shit.

Reminds me of those old Barbizon ads..."Train to be a Porn Star or just look like one!"

Always wanted to go to that show as well as NAB.

Nope guess not, or he would of at least said what SMPTE even stood for. Very snobbish of him.
