Janine has a new sentencing date in her IRS tax case set for December 15. Sentencing had been previously set for Oct. 24. She faces up to one year in prison and a $100,000 fine. She also will be required to pay all her back taxes.

Back story from August, 2008: EUGENE, Ore. ? An adult film star who recently bought a home in Eugene faced possible jail time and fines for failing to pay thousands in taxes.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Karin Immergut said 39-year-old adult film actress Janine M. James, also known as Janine Lindemulder, of Huntington Beach, California, pleaded guilty Friday in a Eugene court.

James admitted making a down payment on a $647,000 Eugene home and buying two new vehicles while owing more than $200,000 in federal income taxes, Immergut said.

Lane County real estate records show that James purchased a 2,200-square-foot house at 3383 Riverbend Place in 2005.

James faced up to one year in prison, a $100,000 fine, and will be required to pay all back taxes.

In October 2005, she used nearly $163,000 from her divorce settlement from her former husband, Jesse James, owner of the West Coast Choppers motorcycle fabricator shop and host of the Monster Garage television show on the Discovery Channel.

Janine James also admitted buying a new Jeep for $28,000 and paying $20,000 down on a new recreational vehicle between March 2004 and June 2004, at a time when she owed taxes.

James moved to Oregon after her husband left her in 2003. It was widely reported at the time that she was pregnant. Jesse James later married film actress Sandra Bullock.

Janine James appeared as a nurse putting on a pair of rubber gloves on the cover of band Blink 182?s 1999 album ?Enema of the State.? She appeared in the same role in the music video for the song ?What?s My Age Again?? off that album.

Court documents listed her current address as Huntington Beach, Calif.

An adult film actress who once lived in Scotts Valley was sentenced Monday to six months in federal prison for tax evasion.

U.S. Magistrate Thomas Coffin also ordered Janine M. James, 40, to live in a residential community corrections center for up to six months after her release from prison and to serve one year of supervised release.

Known in the adult film world as Janine Lindemulder, James pleaded guilty last summer to intentionally failing to pay her income taxes. During her sentencing in U.S. District Court in Eugene, Assistant U.S. Attorney Christopher Cardani said James currently owes $294,000 in back taxes.

James, who first appeared in Penthouse magazine as the Pet of the Month in 1987 and later appeared in more than 50 adult films, was given until March 10 to report to prison.

James was arrested following an investigation by the Internal Revenue Service. Between 2000 and 2006, during a period in which she owed $200,000 in federal income taxes, James spent more than $750,000, investigators alleged.
