Again, I supported this software for a LONG TIME without being paid. I hate that you guys "got screwed" on it, support-wise, but that is 100% because Chio DECIDED not to support the software, DECIDED to let it decline, and DECIDED to fuck over the only guy who was helping out -- the same guy who CODED the fucking thing and didn't get paid for it.

I have the source code, I just wouldn't feel comfortable re-monetizing it to "restart" the product.

Why not fix up ABP, re-release it, make old customers happy and have an actual reason to post on adult webmaster boards? It'd almost be like people have allowed you back into the industry! Yays!

While he did rewrite the code at some point, it's not his to re-release.

Eh. I am very jaded over all the money stolen on the whole thing and subsequent stuff ... I don't think I'd ever go back to ABP itself.

I think it is my code, since I wrote it from the ground-up ... I didn't just "modify" someone else's code, y'know? It's a grey area, I guess. If I'd been paid for it, then a case could be made that it wasn't mine. How would you even begin to untangle that mess? It isn't worth it, IMO.
