every store has their own producer, and it really depends on them as to if they publish contact information. The only way I know of to get it is by buying a clip, because it'll tell you to reply to the producer if there is a problem with it.

.... the answer is yes.

That is the beauty of c4s is that you get people buying more clips then it would cost them for a membership. Some buy $50/100/200 worth at a time. It's beautiful. You gotta love making extra thousands.

Better yet. They are REPEAT customers who follow this same pattern month after month. Spending more than they would for a membership. It's fucking awesome!

People feel that they have a better chance of getting what they want when they buy ala carte.

And I suppose the nice thing for those that sell on it, they just list their products in a store that the traffic is already flowing through, kinda like putting your items on the shelf at Wal-Mart.

It's a little more complicated then that, but yes, Neil (C4S owner) does buy and drive traffic through the site. But, there are 20,000 other stores.
