Oh, that reminds me. I was watching Fear Factor while talkin to my mom who lives in the US... she was also watching Fear Factor.
So one of the bug eating contests comes on and she starts talking about how gross it is, and then the contestant couldn't stomach it anymore and grabs the bucket.
At that point, I tell my mom how funny it is that this person is hurling into the bucket so hard and she says "what? I don't see that. It went to commercial!"

no polar bears or seals around here.. sled dogs I've seen once.. a true Indian who lived in a bus and lived off the land.
I have not been to the U.S but from what I read.. it sounds like a tough place to live, always need to watch your back, carry guns with you etc etc.
when I was 5 I was allowed to drive my tricycle around the the block.. go to store and buy my mom smokes.. but today Its not that friendly but its not as bad as stories I read in the states.Comment

generally nice people and a more liberal atmosphere...remember though canada is BIG bigger than the US size wise so there are many different areas with different things to offer. Lots of people from the US I talk to think of Canada as a city or something.

The first time I ever went to canada I was sitting on a patio at a hotel, drinking a beer at 9am and some guy just walks up to me and asks me if I want to split a joint with him. I think realized he was a waiter at the restaurant.

Everyone says Canada's health system sucks, I havnt seen anything wrong with it.
The Canadian Dollars just gave me a 20% raise on my USD so thats good
There is plenty of Snowboarding in the winter and Snowmobiling
In the summer you can go to some of the best cottage country in the world
If you like the outdoors Canada is the shit!
The housing market is fine here I have made 6 figures on our house and its staying steady
I lived and Phoenix before I came up here and I have lived in 13 states around the US
The racial tension here doesnt really exist
There is minimal crime
Gas cost a little more but its not that bad
and my business is thriving up here
But best of all Ellisa is from Canada and I thank her all the time for having me move up here instead of her to Phoenix although she really wanted to come to phoenix to get out of the one thing I don't like a ton: the cold winter but I have learned to like it through winter sports
So with all that said I went to the snowboard show last week and got my new gear for this year where the fuck is the snow alreadyComment
