    Problems with TAG watches

man this is my second one, and the second one with issues.

The first one the bezel broke and I waited a year to find out about repair. They dont make that one any more so the replacement would have to be a used one or custom made.

Got a new one. 1 year old and somehow the locking piece for the crown broke. Paid 695 for the watch and the reapir is costing me 300!!!

    Rolex here I come.

Anyway else had issues with TAG?

I've had some friends with TAG problems too.

I really like my Breitling and my Omega.

      I'm just a newbie.

Sadly yes. The cap for one of the chronometer buttons popped off mine about 2 years ago. Had it repaired, popped right back off and lost it about 3 months later. Battery died pretty quickly as well. Pretty shitty for such supposed high quality watches if you ask me.

I have changed 3 batteries in 2 watches.

one the battery died within a month. they replaced it no charge.

But yeah. Im thinking of getting something nicer.

I've had an S/EL Two-Tone Chrono for about 9 years now, and it looks and works like the day I bought it .. never been serviced.

It gets worn maybe 3 times a month when I have social engagements to attend ...

I have a 22 Jewel SEIKO Automatic (bought in '94) for a daily wearer .. It was factory RE & RE'd maybe 4 years ago ($200), when the hash mark for the #4 fell of, but besides that never a problem

I guess it depends on the model, but i have 12 Tags one of which i wore daily for more than 20 years without a single issue . I still have it and it looks as good now as it did 20 years ago

Chris' TAG works fine and we've had it for about three years.

                                        I wear Philip Stein. : )
