- excuse her by saying "say __insert democrat__ did it too"
- support what she did, as necessary and justified.

If it had been Joe Biden for example, these same people would have flipped their view entirely and attacked it. The party line bullshit is what hurts the country the most. Why support corruption in politics just because it's painted red or blue?
