In other words, once they got the fucking thing broken down, they didn't know what part went where. :1orglaugh

Bring something useful to a thread for a change. You have something to say.... back it up.
Most of what I'm posting in here is how I feel, or my view on the subject matter. If you don't like it too bad. If you think it's wrong, then tell us why.

hahaha. I'm right on topic. you make wild guesses and statments you can't back up. I posted exactly why you were wrong at the begining of this page and you ignored it because I was right.

As I said before, its ok to have an irrational fear about things but please, don't be mad when you're laughed at over it.
Thank God you're canadian. :1orglaugh

Well, I can tell you for sure that having extra parts after you reassemble your gun after cleaning is a very bad sign.

Considering that there are in the hundreds of millions of guns owned in this country, gun accidents represent a infitesimaly small number, as do murders committed with guns. There are more people killed in auto accidents each year, than there are people killed by guns. So called assault rifles are used in less than one percent of crimes invovling guns. So called "Saturday night" specials are responsible for an over whemling majority of shootings. These are the cheaper handguns. I have owned guns since I was a kid. I would be like the slogan. The only way you will get my gun/guns is by prying it from my cold dead hand.

Hmmm pardon me for being literate, 12Clicks... But, where did I say I had irrational fears? Oh, and where did I make wild guesses and statements that I can't back up? Would you mind quoting me please? There's a handy QUOTE option here on the board.

To answer your question, most guys that grew up in rural area's are great with guns, most city guys haven't got a clue. I don't know what the percentage would be of people that are incapable of operating a gun...but it would be up there.

I agree with this - my daddy bought me my first gun at 7 yrs of age, a 410 shotgun. So as you can see i grew up with guns in my life.

irrational fear

This can't be said for alcohol or automobiles or anything else you want to compare to firearms to make you feel better about the fact that gun lovers have been socially conditioned by generations of people who believe in their constitutional right to bear arms. Something a bunch of quakers wrote down on paper and put a seal on waaaay to long ago.

statement you can't back up with facts.

Times change. We don't think the same way we did when that constitution was written. Unfortunately, the side-effects of "right to bear arms" has made it almost a necessity to bear them because that right itself has had a direct cause on the increase of crime that nesessitates them in the first place.

statement you can't back up with facts.

Dude... you are not John McLean, and this isn't Die Hard. This is probably the scariest thing about firearms... listening to stories of "what I would do". You know what? Most of you would fumble the gun out of your pocket and drop it to the ground all the while pissing your pants before your trembling finger would ever find the trigger.

Guns breed violence, which leads to the necessity of owning a gun in the first place.

The NRA and their rights to bear arms has significant sway in the US. Pseudo control of municipal, state, and even federal authorites. Maybe Charleton Heston is the real president of the US... who knows.

Childish statement you can't back up with facts.

wild guess with NO basis in fact.

Or maybe the word "fact" means something different in canada.

12Clicks... thanks but what is it that you're smokin?

Did you happen to notice that I'm expressing my point of view, and not attempting to state facts? You seem to be pointing the finger at me. Accusing me of waving false facts about firearms in this thread.

Did ya notice the interrogation mark at the end of some of my posts? <-- like that one!
They're called questions! Questions stimulate the thought process and encourage verbal (or typed) dialogue! Cool huh?
Let's see if you can do it too!

BluntGod 11-06-2002 01:53 PM

What about this...ever thought of it?

"I kill you smoke a blunt and forget where I put ya" - Fate I think...off Ludacris's album.
