I found out they pay the scouts more then I knew.

They are giving 50% of the sale to the scouts. They give 30% to the local pack and 20% goes to the national BSA. The local pack then gives the cub scout scout bucks to spend on camp and sleeping bags etc.. Our pack used scout bucks to fund a campout two weeks ago and they have a few more over the next few months. It really helps the boys with single mothers who can't afford to send their kids to camp or buy the sleeping bags, tents and canteens etc...

I think it's better then begging for money for the scouts as the popcorn sale covers most of the years needs.

Looks more like 70% goes to scouts unless they are lying on the order confirmation page.

I think they give more to the National Scouts ?

The tracking I see is only 30% because that's what goes to the local troop.

I asked them why there's a difference and I was told the regional council gets a cut and so does the national Boy Scouts of America so it may be 30%, 20% and 20% ?

Don't know the breakdown, just know how much I spent and how much they said the Scouts were getting.
