I actually think Guitar Hero is better than Rock Band. Rock Band seems kinda like a cheap immitation of Guitar Hero, HOWEVER, I didn't play the second one because I'm waiting for the new Guitar Hero to come out, I have the full band set on pre-order.

I figured I'd stay away from Rock Band because I didn't want to keep refreshed from the music games, so I'll be ready to go when the new Guitar Hero comes out.

Rock band 2 was considerably better than the first AND rock band gets the credit for being the first to have more than just the damn guitar so now it is guitar hero copying rock band! I'm not a fanboy at all but GH aerosmith simply brought down my level of respect for the guitar hero franchise.

Simply put Rock band gives you far more hours of fan than guitar hero AND get this, shit you bought for rock band 1 still works for rock band 2! How groovy is that? Rock Band has an insane amount of songs available and are adding at a pace that GH can't cope with.

I'm not a diehard player though, I can only beat Medium and can't do shit on Hard. I like to jump in and play a bit and walk away and not play it for weeks.
