Bangkok peeps (or those who know Bangkok well).....question???
We will be in town with the family soon and my wife picked out a few things she thought would be fun for our son to go to (6 yrs old) Can anyone let me know what you think....Thanks in advance !

night safari is in northern thailand, chiang mai (which is a pretty city, clean, in natural settings, tourist friendly), but its just a normal zoo but smaller than what you have in the US.. I'd recommend elephant tours and i've never been to any of the other things.... if you go to chiangmai there's lots of cool family stuff to do, tons of waterfalls, trekking, offroad tours, boat tours and such.

Ancient city is a big place, so drive and personally I suspect it would get boring for a young kid after about 10 minutes...
Dream world might be ok but I never trusted the thai's to maintain the rides, there are lots of pretty safe things though that would be good for the kid. Never did the other stuff, just give the kid some cash and send him to a gogo that'll keep him happy I know it worked for me! |
