guess i'll just have to wait and see as to whether it will impact sales or impressions. i'm not exactly mourning the loss, as there's plenty of completely legal linking on the site that generates the required boners :)

as i said, the hotlinking was a small part of the site, and it's very doubtful it will crumble away now that it's gone.

And it gets pretty frustrating ...

After your content and/or bandwidth has been ripped off several times believe me, you get really tired of hearing all of the excuses ...
