This Moviesguy (hotfunhouse, jizzhut etc) is working for years very close with Adultbouncer.
You might want to contact them as well. That guy has been hotlinking lots of my movie galleries in the past.

I doubt that... people still see the Internet as the place where anything goes.
They don't care if they put other people out of business as long as they make a few bucks themself.

Well, you've got that with almost any other business. But the question is if there isn't somekind of regulating instance (organisation) which you'd find in any other business?

Like for example on the labour/construction business. You've got instances on there which check/probe how companies work, or they report/get reported matters of unlawfull business practices etc...

Same guys ripped off one of my clients website frontend (exactly the same) and i sent an email to adfultticket.com and they removed a couple of the pages but not the host name.

They are theives who do steal front ends of websites to promote sponsers.

adultticket is a avs site, the dude himself is not stealing the content, he is hosting sites that uses stolen content, thou i dont stick up for him at all, but its hard to control every person that runs sites using his service. its like ppl using stolen content with ibill, and saying ibill is a cock sucker. thou ibill is alot stricker i think. not sure. obsiously im sure he dont care that they uses illegal content, they will follow the rules and send everyone a letter saying remove content or your gone.. i think about 90% of avs sites are stolen content. and the money is great you should try it sometimes lol. thou i have done it and never got in trouble, i feel bad for doing such thing. also with archive like avs sites probably a good percentage the shit dont work in member area, or is changed very very often.

AdultTicket.com is an avs, we only occasionally host, and protect archives. If you have a claim about stolen content, I suggest you email support.

Other then that, I also suggest if you have content to protect you join APIC, they do an excellent and unbiased job of protecting your content. But its ridicilous to go on a witch hunt.

Lens can you please strike personal info from this thread?

We have shut down people like this using a lawyer.

Take a look to see where PersonalPorn.com points to now. They were huge at one time.....

It all depends how important it is to you to go after copyright infringement.

if one person (or entity) is stealing a large amount of content from one source, in addition to being shut down for copyright infringement, couldn't they also be sued for any profits made off of the stolen material?

from what i've noticed myself, a huge % of movie avs sites are using 'public domain' movies (shit that's easily obtained through morpheus, kazaa, etc.). if so many webmaster preach about the perils of using stolen content, how come there are still so many well known, high traffic sites getting away with it?

Sorry ProgGod YOU as an AVS have the responsibility to police copyright theft. And when a content provider or even just somebody notices that there is stolen content on a website that belongs with your AVS it's your responsibility to get rid of that thief, not pay lip service to it.

The most blatent copyright thievery these days is going on in several AVS systems. In fact the movie oriented AVS systems exist from thievery.

My my my. I wonder who hosts this little treasure trove of stolen cinematic goodies?

http://www.moo-movies.com

That couldn't be Adult Bouncer could it?

Anybody hear any rumors about lawsuits coming AB's way?

I have.

Join APIC if the guy ignores the warning, they go for anyone profitting from the site under the RICO act.

Most hosts will close pirates down, they have too much to lose.

There is copyright, but the problem is, it's generally more expensive to find+sue them
than it is to just ignore it. It's unfortunate, but that's the way it is.
I don't agree with stealing content, but unless they're big, making lots of money and you can sue them
for alot, it's probably not worth bothering with.

Forget about threatening the thief himself, the people who can get rid of the thieves and help everybody out are the hosts, the AVS systems, and the processing companies.

If you suspect the whole AVS system is just a big cover for stolen content go to whoever is providing them hosting or bandwidth.
They have to take your letter seriously if they are the least bit professional and care about their businesses.
If you notify a hosting company and they ignore you they open themselves up. Same thing with an AVS. I'm not really sure about a third party processing company but hopefully all of them will do their part.

I like Adult Bouncer, not only do they know most of their webmasters get their content exclusively from Kazaa, they also go the extra mile and provide free hosting for that stolen content.

As for their library of over 2,500 DVD's they provide as free content to their webmasters, I'll believe that shit's licensed and legal when i see the licenses with my own eyes.

Gotta get in there, i refuse to buy a membership. Guess i'll have to set up a site with them sometime so i can see that movie list and what else is going on.

Curious, but if they, or their host are in the states, under the DMCA, if you submit a complaint to their isp, they have to take the site down unless the client (in writing) objects?
if their host fails to remove it I believe you can sue their host (which if they're a two bit thief as you say, probably has more resources = better to sue)
Of course, I may be wrong. US copyright law is so fucked up to begin with, if someone "zips" an image, and I write a program that unzips the image, I can
possibly face jail time (for writing a tool to undo their protection) I wouldn't count on it for much help unless you're a huge corporation.

You can do all the chasing and serving notices yourself, if you have the time and energy.

But it's easier and far more productive to get someone who is experienced at this and has a reputation of bringing down illegal sites. Do you really think all these people are wrong?

http://www.apic-adult.com/adultmembers.html

Show me an illegal site with my content on, (THAT YOU MAY HAVE PAID FOR) and see how quickly I can bring it down.

It usually only takes an email to the webmaster, CC to the host/sponsor, with a link to APIC and the site goes.

Mutt--
I think 3rd party processors are next. This is pure speculation, but they operate _much_ like avs systems, as "your" members are really the 3rd party processors members.
(If you do not think so, try to move your rebills )

In that way 3rd-party billers are much like AVS systems, and maybe subject to the same rulings as P10 v AC.

Just a hunch.

The main issue with copyright in the adult industry is simply that you want people to accept a rule while most if not all adult sites bend other rules.
Unprotected Hardcore is illegal but most people show at least a couple of free pics or submit to TGP's.
Adult sites per se are illegal in a lot of communities but does anyone really bother?

just a few examples. Just because you have a strong stand on copyright doesn't make you the pope. Yes it sucks but does it really matter that much that you get a headache over it?

We have shut down people like this using a lawyer.

Take a look to see where PersonalPorn.com points to now. They were huge at one time.....

It all depends how important it is to you to go after copyright infringement.
Way to go!

Yes it does matter. If we did not sue and harass these guys there would be less of an Adult Internet for people to make a living from.

It would be mostly illegal crap and the surfer (who is prepared to pay) would soon get disillusioned and go somewhere else for his fun. Every time a picture is published it loses some of it?s value, would you buy sets that were every where for free?

So it does not matter?

So can I steal your car of an evening when you are asleep, on the basis that you are not using it?

Can anyone give me any info if they know him? or an address where he can be found? This prick has been stealing my content for the last 3 months. I have stopped 2 of his merchant accounts and im working on a 3rd. He just keeps stealing my content and switching sponsors and processors.

Thats hiendmedia, his name is Preston. One of the biggest pieces of scum ive ever met on the net. His partner left him cause he was such a crook.
