I used https://www.freecreditreport.com (not really free). I recommend this or any other credit report site where you can get a 3 for 1 report of the big 3, Experian, Trans Union and Equifax. You should get all 3 reports because they vary, sometimes dramatically.

Chase has it aswell, but it's like $12.95, free the first month.

Yup this is one of the best choices since that law went into effect. Just watch out for up sells (if they still have them). If you need your credit scores as well as reports, you may want one of the many credit monitoring agencies instead. Many places offer them free (your cards do) for so many months, if you do not cancel - well you know the story.Comment
