I wouldn't consider epass safe even if there wasn't a financial crisis. You trust your funds with a privately owned company registered in an offshore jurisdiction? I'm not saying they're doing anything shady, but if they fold don't expect to be able to easily recover your $.

epass is not a real bankinstitution and is not backed by any insurance company. Your money is not safe and for the most part your only contact is 1 person from a message board called gfy ..
