11% lead, is the election over?

Can McCain make a comeback?

lol

polls of registered voters don't matter.

what matter is who actually shows up to vote, and how much election fraud the Republicans manage to get away with

btw - i was turned away from the polls in 2000 when i lived in Colorado. i had been registered to vote for two years, had my voter reg card, drivers license and passport. i'm even white!! but i lived in a battleground district

they told me i had to go 35 miles to the county offices. i went, they sent me back. never was allowed to vote

Colorado ended up being a small, but surprising win for Bush. as close as the race was, he would not have won without it

I'm sure it will tighten back up as McCain further destroys any honor he may have left by continuing with the smear compaign.

I still think the republicans have one last trick to play. I won't be surprised by another Bin Laden tape or something like that happening. But somehow I don't think this will work. Like RKLover says it all comes down to who shows up. This year there are not just a few key states. McCain has to win all the battleground states to win because Obama is going to take Iowa and most likely New Mexico away from him. If McCain loses just one of the leftover battleground states (or for that matter any of the 4 traditionally republican states he is in trouble in) he loses. That kind of voter fraud would be hard to pull off. If somehow the democrats turn their back on Obama at the last minute and don't show up on election day it will be very close, otherwise I can't see how McCain can pull this out.

i don't think so.

bradley was a certified jiggaboo, a dull normal.

just saw Michelle Obama on Larry King, she is as genuine and compelling as her husband.

smart, decent, warm, human, humane.

black, but not jiggaboos, not even close.

it will be Obama, by a landslide.

Yep, you did. From the very start, actually.

The best candidate in the pack was probably Clinton, and that's pretty tragic.

In my opinion, Bloomberg should've run. Extensive economical knowledge and executive experience would have been pretty valuable assets for the next president.

I bet he cries when he takes a bath each night (can't shower at his age - could slip and break his hip). Using the same dispictable tactics that Bush used against him in 2000, and hiring the same people to do it to Obama that did it to him. Win by any means. No way to wash away that shame.

the people who would vote for obama are the people that look at polls and say oh obama is going to win, i dont have to worry about it, its all over the news. lets go to KFC and smoke a joint and play video games.

the people who are voting for mccain see these polls and make preparations to have off that day, get a babysitter, make sure their transportation is in tact and plan to make sure they get their vote in.

The gallup poll has the wildest swings of any major poll, so I wouldn't put too much stock into it.

It had McCain up by 6 after the convention, when most other polls had him up by about 2.

It's useful to notice the trend, but I don't put too much faith in the actual numbers.

I can see why you call yourself robfantasy

I guess the people who saw Clinton up in the polls in 1996 did the same thing and that's why Bob Dole became president?

I wonder how many votes will be a result of the fraudulent ACORN voter registrations that Obama paid $800,000 for. Let's hope the states find them all and null them.
