There ARE solutions for sponsor hosted videos... both the Nubiles tube script and STXT have open formats (no special programming on our end) that allows any sponsor to get on board with their hosted FLVs.
The Nubiles tube script will be adding STXT XML format as an option for importing.
I believe it is in your best interest to follow BOTH the Nubiles CSV and the STXT XML format.
Almost every script thats out there is better and has better and more features
My system CURRENTLY is only ready for ES, I was only saying that if you want it then its done for ES, My goal is monday for vidiscript support. I'm still working on category "merge" tools, had a bad line of code whipe out my DB so I'm switching to backing up constantly LOL

Please do not add another format into the mix.
dude I've already posted that I've chosen to only natively support the STXT XML so no worries. I'm not trying to push some kind of format standard for content. What I'm pushing for is a portable system that can import sponsored videos into ANY tube script.
A LOT of people say that TUBES are not profitable...
on the other side, A LOT of other people are always talking about how they buy that new script for their tubes and how they opened a new tube site...
So, what is the truth???
there wouldn't be so many tube scripts and so many tube sites if there wasn't money in it, you'll just have to do things a little differently. The illegal tube sites make shitloads of cash on webcam and dating sponsors whereas the "legal" ones are nothing but sponsored videos and make their cash off the sponsors. I believe the sponsor ones are a LOT harder to develop traffic for but you make more per visitor.
As a TGP/ Legal tube site owner, affiliate and a sponsor.
I used smart scripts for TGPs because it optimized my management of sponsor galleries. And it tracked which galleries get clicked on more so therefore bumped them to the top.
The tube scripts should do the same. When I want to import a list of videos from a sponsor it should be done same way as hosted galleries URL|NAME|DESC|THUMB
that would help affiliates focus on traffic instead of importing content which can be a long ass task.

Yeah, importing new vids into tevs takes a while. Especially if you are cropping your own thumbs, writing custom descriptions, setting tags etc for each video.
I've hit up a few tube script coders asking for a copy to learn their system so I can design for it (strictly dev use only) and so far I've not had one bite. That includes TEVS.
The one that gives me a free copy to learn and doesn't blow will get a pretty good amount of new users as I currently can't recommend a tube script to any of my clients...
So... tube coders... hit me up if you want some new sales...

You don't need anything but the templates which are calls the the database and what not, at least for TEVS. Correct me if I'm wrong Dean, but designers don't really need any actual TEVS files but the template.
JD, you're welcome to take a look at mine. If this is the case.
Candyflip, there are no "templates" as such for TEVS. The php/mysql blends with the HTML. So you would need some php/mysql experience to make a new design. But if you look you can pretty much copy and paste those codes.
So I take it Dean is officially out of business now? It's been over 30 days.
Oh how funny was this thread. Out of business in 30 days.. lol
Here we are, just released v1.1 and it's fucken awesome. Packed with tons more features and selling well.
