Why must people assume this crap? Why in the living fuck would this job not be for them if say they make 2,500.00 a month, or 5,000.00 a month. Those figures alone would put them at least on par if not well above most single incomes in the US and abroad. For a lot not everyone also wants to work every moment are are more than happy being content with what they have once they reach a stable and secure income level. In closing I also would never base someones opinions based on their income levels. Many people I have known and know earn literally tens of thousands per month and honestly they are not the brightest bulbs in the house and also have not figured out how to invest a dime nor save a penny and at the end of the month they are broke.

Listen man... I could introduce you to a good friend suga'

She could help pull that massive stick out of ya ass

Got our first design gig for the adult market last year around this time of the year :) then got interested in doing our own stuff... we haven't REALLY worked into it though, we are getting our stuff together, I have spent this past year learning everything I can and working for other people. We'll start producing content on Thursday ;)

29.95

xxxjay 10-08-2008 01:28 AM

Both 9 and 10 apply to me LOL

jenmarie 10-08-2008 11:18 AM

I put 9, but I've had adult stuff out there on the web since late 1996. I went pay in late 1998, so I guess it's really at this point.... damn, time flies.

I didn't count selling pics through BBS systems way back when, though that would put me at 12 or 13 years.... whoa.

And I probably should penalize myself for completely slacking for the last 4 years after I started having kids. Just now working on getting my fuckin' ducks back in a row. It's kind of nice to feel excited about the business again, though. I had a serious case of burnout for a while there. ;)

You only serve to make my point, kind sir.

There are a ton of bright bulbs here at GFY.

There are guys I pay $250 per month to... They do some awesome shit... And they make about $2K a month and they are happy with that. I pay that measly $250 a month and I get back $5K from it...

This is a business for me.. for them... it is just extra cash....

myjah 10-10-2008 05:00 AM

7+. A completely different industry from when I started.

Zayne E. 10-10-2008 05:18 AM

In adult since 1996.

I started out doing the wrong shit and I am still doing the wrong shit. In between I did some shit right but then Yahoo changed the way surfers saw their shit at the end of 2001 and my shit went to broke shit. I make very good money as a no-shit designer...but now I am just a shit grunt. No passive shit coming in anymore.

I hate that shit.

Lamis 10-10-2008 05:22 AM

Jack Sparrow 05-03-2009 06:34 AM

10k income, or 10k earned?

Well either way, ive been in it for about 6 yrs as a webmaster (from mainstream to adult, from a small funblog to a freesite doing 90k uniques, up to what oneclicktube is now after only 1 month of being live).

I hate to brag about money and how much im making. But the OCT idea really was a big improvement to my "earnings" but also 8x times more costs :)

No button for 39 years ?

Shot my first solo nude set in 1969

Roby 05-04-2009 05:21 AM

more then 4 years

FrozenJag 05-04-2009 05:31 AM

2.5 years

I think your scale was realistic say 1 year or previously but the last year sales have lowered faster then traffic could rise for probably 95 percent of the industry that are affiliates. My guess is alot of people that were making 15 to 20k/mo are now making around 10k/mo.

Arnjen 05-04-2009 05:47 AM

hmmm 1,5 year and still no 10k/month goddamnit i need to go start work my ass of but fuck i`m too lazy:1orglaugh
