Hoes.com Re-Opens Niche Category Trading

Hi,

After much thought and contemplation, I've decided to re-open my niche category trading system. I had temporarily shut it down because of the influx of very poor quality trades that had emerged.

I've made it much easier to get a link on the category page of your choice... there is now only a 5 unique hit minimum to get listed for that day. By doing this, I expect higher quality trade candidates. No more THUMB TGPs... they were the worst of the worst.

If you aren't familiar with hoes.com, keep in mind that she's been running since 1997, has great placement in all niches within the search engines and is one of the only sites that has trades with type-in domains on a niche per niche basis.

marc has some nice hq traffic we had a trade years ago, nothing but quality, i can see why you shut it down though, quality over quantity anyday.

Also, do you accept traffic via blog post(plugs)?

Your free site submissions are hard links. Not what I'm looking for.

You have somewhere else that lists text links?? I see you have them in the footer on all your pages. Maybe that's what your talking about. If so that's all good.

This trading system lists your link under the "Top Sites" heading just above the footer information... see on the babes category there are two sites listed...

I finally broke down and installed google analytics on all my properties... definately gained some needed insight into the trading situation... most thumb tgps had an average pageview of around 1.1 pages per visit... they click a blind thumb, end up at hoes.com, shut it down... great trade!

Hi,

Unfortunately I'm not a big fan of tricky ad tactics like that overlay MSN message at the bottom... so I'll have to pass for now.

marc I might signup in a few days, most of my traffic stay time on my sites are 10mins plus up to 45 mins, and have a very low bounce rate

There are several reasons why a free site won't get listed for a particular day...

1. Too many other submissions for your niche that day.
2. Putting our recip on a mirrored version of your free site. We need to be on the original one grouped with the other large link lists.
3. Didn't follow the rules on our submit page.

Most often #1 and #2 are to blame.

From what I understand after reading your rules you only count incoming traffic from one specific url. If someone sends traffic from a blog and they have your link in their header or blogroll or where ever, only the clicks from say www.whateverblog.com will count. If someone is viewing a blog post or page from like www.whateverblog.com/category/todays-blog-post/ and clicks your link then that won't count?

Blogs are setup a lot different then site like yours. You add a link somewhere on a blog and it is automatically on 100's or 1000's of other pages in the blog on that same domain.

Yes, I know exactly what you are saying and in that case it wouldn't be a beneficial trade for a blog of that style.

There is a very specific reason why I set things up this way. My category pages are extremely filtered. Most if not all of the traffic flowing through them are there because they are legitimately interested in the niche. By only counting one URL, I know where the traffic is coming from and I know that it will always match the niche. If I let people send from anywhere on their site, I would be getting unrelated traffic counting at clicks on my niche pages which wouldn't make sense for me. So those sites would rank higher, get more quality traffic back from me and in return I get unrelated traffic that won't be happy with their destination.

It doesn't work for everyone, but works extremely well for most.
