Serge is right. Yahoo sent a letter to Sex.com for trademark violation, and Sex.com turned around and sued them. Yahoo execs had no idea what a wildcard dns was which is what sex.com uses. Yahoo apologized publically and retracted their stance.

Have you guys SEEN what this program does?

1. It steals your top banner spot
2. It redirects your traffic back to the referring site.
3. It kills consoles beyond the referring site

I'm surprised I didn't see more discussion about this program here. *shrugs*

How do our affiliates feel about it? Any concerns?

You can use Xites or you can use frames. They both do the same thing. Only with frames it's much faster and you have everything under your control.

Except you can't stop consoles with frames, and you can't redirect a surfer back to your site after a certain amount of sites they view...unless you had a 'home' link or something in your frame and they would have to click it to go there....

It's just a matter of time before this site steals all of YOUR traffic while you're trying to steal someone elses, or at least shaves a pretty good piece of it.

I get a Javascript error for every page that I load with that thing, can you install this program on your own server or do you have to use their third party server.
