Worst film remake of all time?

I'm not sure. The Omen was a pretty bad "remake". It was pretty much the same exact movie, just with different actors. The original Omen was great, but why waste our time calling something a remake if it's the same movie just with different actors? If I'm going to watch a remake, I at least expect something to be a little different. The Omen remake was basically scene-for-scene the same.

The British consider the first one almost a national treasure of a film. It gets shown at holidays, etc and you aren't allowed to become a citizen unless you know where 'you were only suppose to blow the bloody doors off' come from.

Original film has the first on screen BBW fan that I am aware of too btw...too bad he was Benny Hill.

I thought it was okay but not nearly as good as the classic. My sister, on the other hand, was obsessed with the original as a kid and apparently walked out of the remake because the pedo/Micheal Jackson vibe given to Wonka pissed her off..lol
