Any reason a sponsor would disallow logging in for half an hour each day?

    Any reason a sponsor would disallow logging in for half an hour each day?

    Every single day without fail, one of my sponsors doesn't allow logging in for the last 30 minutes of the day.

    Why?

    Do they turn off the affiliate area, maybe even stop tracking hits / sales, diddle the figures, and then turn it all on again as the day move into the next?

    After the responses here I'm going to ask them. That would be a neat way to trim a few sales for sure.

                                                      If it was a sponsor I didn't care about, I would. Contacting them over something like this insinuates more or less that you're accusing them of cheating. Once you've done that, the relationship is soured.

                                                      The odd thing is that once I was able to get in (after end of US day), I had another 2 rebills for the previous day, and 3 extra hits only, I know exactly because I took a screenie and sent it to my programmer.

                                                      I go with the Correlation Reconciliation and Processes Synchronisation (CRAPS) theory.
