Reality is once you know what type of corp you need, who does the application/paperwork is trivial as long as it is done correctly so that it is not kicked back and end up costing more.

If your lucky and have a regular accountant. They can often kick it out for you at cost or within a reasonable cost. If not, most local specialists and such will typically highly overcharge you. Though it is not hard to do it yourself either. For some reason people are often afraid of Government paperwork and feel they must hire professionals. No real need to be though, well on some like taxes sure but the actual forms no.

Yeah legalzoom I'd say is the best online, but why not just log onto your states biz website and simply register it online?

I got the paperwork online from the state and filed it all myself. It took me a day or so on my own. Mostly just leg work, which is what you would be paying someone else to do.

LegalZoom is pricey. I had to file for a DBA. They wanted over $200 and it coust around $20 to go down, get the paperwork and file it myself.

I used Corporation Centre for my Ontario corp. Simple, affordable and painless.

You can also just have your accountant or lawyer draw one up easy.

Damn right, it's easy, most states you can just do it online then head over to the fed and get your tax id
