You understand shit.

Nobody with half a brain thinnks Obama is going to step in and fix things right away by snapping his fingers. It's going years to fix the shit stains left behind by the current administration, who had 8 years to find a way to avoid this disaster that has supposedly been looming since the Clinton years. The funny thing is that you think another republican candidate and his ignorant, incompetent selection for VP are a better option than Obama.

i understand your frustration.. but u are not thinking logically.

what makes you think someone who has no idea of the inner workings of washington can come in and solve anything.

Obama is the perfect bullshitter. i understand that you are not a business owner and just a worker.

If you were going to hire someone, there is the guy who talks a good game who is full of shit who will lie and say anything to get the job but once hired, you realize they are worthless

then there is also a guy who actually has experience who has a solid resume.

anyone with any sense would go with the guy who has experience over the guy who just talks a good game. people can see past the bullshit

are the american people that desperate that they are willing to bet on someone who has never accomplished anything ? are we willing to hand over our country out of desperation.

i understand we are going thru tough times, but to hand over the country to an unknown with questionable ties, no experience and no proven anything is a little weak..

You know who else made stupid assumptions? George W. Bush. That whole mess with the WMDs there in Irak, I'm sure you remember that. You see where stupid ASSumptions get you? They make you look like an ASS

Even when the guy with experience experience and a "solid resume" voted with Bush 95% of the times and is directly associated with the current administration? Even when his VP looks like she wouldn't be able to run a corner bodega much less a country?

once again man, i know its hard for you to understand, but the govt does things in the interest of the country, that might not be so popular with the american people, so they "spin" it in a way that the "people" can understand and comprehend.

have you ever called customer service about a problem with something? what do they tell you, they tell you a blanket statement handed down to them from top management, because they cannot explain the inner workings of the problem because the customer could not only not comprehend but couldnt understand it and rather than try to assume a higher level of intelligence, they dumb it down or put it in "laymans" terms so the masses will have an idea of whats going on.

So your first choice is the most conservative man running. Your second choice is the most liberal guy running. And your 3rd choice is a fucking mish-mash of social conservatism and crazy economics.

It is clear you don't vote based on issues or your own self interest, but on personality. You are the "I voted for Bush because he wore Wranglers like me" crowd.

And it's not a knock on any of the candidates. Just don't see how you can go from a Libertarian to a Socialist to a Moderate so quickly.

But Obama = Change !

His stickers and banners said so !

;)

Its so funny to watch videos and news clips of his speeches and rallys with all the simpletons just sitting there drooling open mouthed eating all those pretty words up!

buzzy 09-30-2008 07:42 PM

McCain surley can't be running for president, he probally can't even remember his own name. I'm just waiting for Ashton Kutcher to pop up and tell us we've all been punk'd.

Same goes for McCain = Maverick. It's all bullshit slogans. But I'm going to guess you can't tell me why you are voting for McCain.

I don't think that would be the case if someone laid out real reasons why they are. The only thing I've seen mentioned are that Obama is a secret Muslim, black, has a weird preacher, and is an elitist (whatever that is). That's why they aren't voting for Obama, but no one has said why they are voting for McCain.

I'm not saying there is anything wrong with it, but do wonder what reasons there are that would trump his stance on conservative judges that would hurt this industry.

I think they are all idiots, but my comment was more of an observation. Regardless of whether you want Obama/quietboy or McCain/Palin you simply have to watch an Obama rally and see the audience. Its the funniest shit on earth the way they all carry on and soak up the crap that comes out of his mouth. Seriously its like watching the retard school's monthly outing to a football match ! :winkwink:

Watch some of them next time you will see what I mean .. its as funny as hell if you can put your political bias aside for a few mins entertainment ! :)

You have just described a McCain rally audience.

Nah thats different if a little more tragic. You have thousands of people who are trying so hard to be supportive and clap and cheer, but you can tell their heart isn't in it. McCain is such a terribly drab speaker.. the guy needs serious speech coaching. I find myself wincing when watching him, though we hardly get any McCain coverage, its all Obama this .. Obama that.

I agree. I don't think there is anything more pathetic than a campaign event. You have all these people cheering someone who really could give two shits about them. They spew bullshit about helping them, but they don't care. They'd slit a throat for an extra vote come November.

There is a big difference, although that's more based on what personality types go toward each party. Democrats fall in love with their candidates while Republicans fall in line.

I don't understand Republicans who work in adult. Their decision to be a Republican must solely come down to taxes. And nothing else.

An idiot no doubt. But those who think Obama is going to be any different or really "change" anything are just kidding themselves. The establishment has way too much money, power, influence and organization for you to simply wake up one day and vote them out. Obama is a big a tool of the establishment as John McCain. He may push the odd thing here or there, but he has already shown he will absolutely tow the line with his own "changing" positions.

J. Falcon 10-07-2008 06:52 PM
