have you ever called customer service about a problem with something? what do they tell you, they tell you a blanket statement handed down to them from top management, because they cannot explain the inner workings of the problem because the customer could not only not comprehend but couldnt understand it and rather than try to assume a higher level of intelligence, they dumb it down or put it in "laymans" terms so the masses will have an idea of whats going on.

I don't think that would be the case if someone laid out real reasons why they are. The only thing I've seen mentioned are that Obama is a secret Muslim, black, has a weird preacher, and is an elitist (whatever that is). That's why they aren't voting for Obama, but no one has said why they are voting for McCain.

I'm not saying there is anything wrong with it, but do wonder what reasons there are that would trump his stance on conservative judges that would hurt this industry.

Nah thats different if a little more tragic. You have thousands of people who are trying so hard to be supportive and clap and cheer, but you can tell their heart isn't in it. McCain is such a terribly drab speaker.. the guy needs serious speech coaching. I find myself wincing when watching him, though we hardly get any McCain coverage, its all Obama this .. Obama that.

I agree. I don't think there is anything more pathetic than a campaign event. You have all these people cheering someone who really could give two shits about them. They spew bullshit about helping them, but they don't care. They'd slit a throat for an extra vote come November.

There is a big difference, although that's more based on what personality types go toward each party. Democrats fall in love with their candidates while Republicans fall in line.

The establishment has way too much money, power, influence and organization for you to simply wake up one day and vote them out. Obama is a big a tool of the establishment as John McCain. He may push the odd thing here or there, but he has already shown he will absolutely tow the line with his own "changing" positions.
