Listed rates have not gone down and in many cases went up over the past few years if you add in agent fee's and minimum scene requirements.
Doesnt mean everyone pays those rates but I am just saying.
PS WTF on 5 years ago, DVD has not been hurting that long.Comment

Porn girls and male talent have been getting paid more then ever unfortunately for us producers than they used to five years ago. The prices went up every year for the past few years since there were so many companies making so much money who are trying to book all the hot new girls. This trend was especially exacerbated by all the successful internet companies who helped bid the prices up in every market by paying the new girls top dollar to get them first, and also because there were a lot of agents bidding up their prices.
I have noticed that very recently now in 2008 however as both the DVD and the internet market are suffering from slower sales overall the prices some girls will work for has finally fallen a little bit depending on what region you are located and who is doing the negotiating. If you are an independent producer like myself with a good relationship with certain models who you give regular or semi-regular work to you have a lot more negotiating power than if the girl is talking to the booker at say BangBros, who they damn well know can afford to overpay and not blink an eye. On average, talent is still getting way more than they were five years ago however.Comment

Rates they ask for are higher but a lot of models aren't getting them. They are getting paid more like what they were making 3 or 4 years ago in reality. The models that are in demand though are making a lot more, but the average models are making about the same as several years back.Comment
