    Anyone here use a Discover Card???

    If so, how do you like them? Customer Service wise??

    Are they like Amex where you pay it off every month or do/can you carry a balance?

    Let me know what you like or dislike about them. I've never really heard anything good or bad.

      Month to month - just like Visa..

      Customer service sucks.

      Fewer and fewer companies take them.

      I've had mine forever.. I keep it around for emergencies, etc..

      Haven't used it for like.. 5 years..

          Yeah, I just got a great offer in the mail, so I thought what the hell. I rarely use credit cards, but they are great for big purchases or if you are in an emergency. God knows what's gonna happen in the country after today though!!

                      Normally I use my visa debit card, one for biz, one for personal, and leave my credit cards at home but a few months ago I redid my den, HDTV, couch, ottoman, and all the crap that goes with redoing a room, and put it all on my Discover card since they had cash back and the lowest interest rate of all the cards I have.

                      Got rid of my AMEX years ago. Just didn't see the point of paying for a credit card when so many banks gave me Visa/MC with no annual fee.

                          I've had my Discover card for a few years now and the only place that ever handed it back to me has been a small town veterinarian.
