ditto. i was actually listening to grace and sketches for most of yesterday afternoon.. and a single album is ridiculous. I honestly couldn't answer. you need a top 10 or top 10 in a style.. i would end up grabbing something that wasn't too intrusive so there weren't many hooks to get sick off after 1000 listens.

my musical tastes go from NWA to Frank Sinatra to Miles Davis to the Ramones, but if I had to pick one and only one song as the 'best' song, whatever that means, it would be 'In My Life' from this album.

But at this stage in my life, probably "Ella Fitzgerald sings the Classics" Nothing like some classic Gershwin, Hart, and Porter sung by a musical goddess.

Dayum, I haven't heard anyone mention Southside Johnny & The Asbury Jukes in years! I'm born & raised in Philly and as such, I'm an east coast rock fan too. Ever listen to Tommy Conwell & The Young Rumblers? I absolutely LOVE their stuff, although Tommy is no longer with the Rumblers. His latest band is The Little Kings. He's also worked with Dynagroove, if you've ever heard of them. :)
