I think one of his live albums has a few covers of edith piaf tracks.. i'll have to track it down... i'd do the same but the other designer in the office would kill me after yesterday - i've got WMP on "repeat" i must have listened to all 3 cd's of the two albums about 4 times each :) (seriously) |
when i was in junior high i wore out Kreator's - Pleasure To Kill. maybe i'd take that one.
|
Hmmm...tough choice...I would have to say The Who's "Tommy." Either that of Elvis' "Separate Ways" or Chuck Berry's "The London Sessions". All were my first 33 record albums.
Hmmm...think I'll go see if I can find "The London Sessions" on cd... |
Anything by Celin Dion.

|
Slayer - "Reign In Blood"
|
Rubber Soul - you know who...
my musical tastes go from NWA to Frank Sinatra to Miles Davis to the Ramones, but if I had to pick one and only one song as the 'best' song, whatever that means, it would be 'In My Life' from this album. |
I guess if you asked me this question 12 years ago I would have answered MINOR THREAT "Out of Step" 7 inch
But at this stage in my life, probably "Ella Fitzgerald sings the Classics" Nothing like some classic Gershwin, Hart, and Porter sung by a musical goddess. |

|
Neil Young - Harvest and Peter Gabriel - So
|
2 pac, or pink floyd
|
Puff Daddy - No Way Out
|
Pink Floyd - THE WALL BABY
|
If there were only one album left in the world, I would look for the last record player in the world to play it on.
|
Supertramp - Breakfast in America
Just so many great songs on one album. Runners up: Big Audio Dynamite - (1st one) XBox soundtrack Pretty in Pink soundtrack New Order's Greatest Hits |
Howlin' Wolfs - The London sessions. Absolutely awesome and Muddy Waters "live at Mr Kellys"
Those two for me never get old no matter how often I listen to them, the cassettes never leave the truck. |
Jethro Tull - HEavy horse
They made their first album 5 yers before I was born but I finaly found them for myself and I love their music above all. Saw Bowie 5 to 7 years ago when it was suppose to be his last concert playing the old stuff.. :) |
"SUGAR" by Tonic. I have hundreds of CDs and I find myself just keeping that one in the car close at hand. It is just very well written and the engineering is top notch.
|
Duke Ellington and Louis Armstrong The Great Summit: The Master Takes.
|
Only one logical choice......Jimi......"Are You Experienced".....I mean c'mon!!!! check out the tracks on that album here:
"Hey Joe" "Purple Haze"---the track from the movie "Apocalypse "Foxy Lady" "The Wind Cries Mary" "Are You EXperienced?" all are classics and great examples of how a guitar in the hands lf a MASTER can actually "sing"..........Yo, Jimi rocks!!!! |

Were do you come up with he couldnt cope with reality? Becasue he took drugs and drank? [sarcasm] That certainly was a tell all sign in the 60's and 70's [/sarcasm] |
