Markets already down 300pts today, how far will it go?

I would like to hear some professional opinions from people who actually have $ in the market. I don't want comments from people who make $15 a day with their blog pings so just go find another thread to fuck around in.

Anyways, will this bailout restore consumer confidence?

But yeah, that fall is normal considering Wachovia came down.......lets wait and see if this bill will get voted down or what will happen..... this will be a very interesting week, not only here but in Europe as well.... as some European banks also had to be bailed out..... crazy how shit disguised and wrapped around the pretty paper called securities can make things implode.....

I think the street is going to figure out either A> the government is being smart, and we're not going to get away with this shit. Time to cut back, layoffs, and ride it out. orrr B> the government is a bunch of idiots, they're going to rescue us no matter what happens. We can just fuck around again, and say the bailout wasn't "sufficient" and present this same mess to the government next time, except this time it will be all their fault. This scenario is probably looking real good to REPUBLICAN rich motherfuckers on wallstreet, because the democrats will be seen as the badguy when this scenario unfolds during their term.

are you really that out of touch with people that don't make as much as you?

i make enough to pay my bills live comfortably, eat good food, smoke great weed, go out when i want and pretty much buy what i want save for exotic cars and mansions but I would never ever say something like 'if you dont make as much as me i dont want to hear from you'

That's the exact kind of thinking that got the US into this mess, kind of funny to see you think the exact same way. Not a personal attack since I enjoy most of your posts and I've learned a few tips from them but lately a lot of them have been 'i have lots of money' and its cool one or two times looking at stats. I bought the "SAS survival guide" last week.
So now I know how to start a fire, what plant to eat, how to catch a rabbit, how to stay warm, etc.
Nice feeling having that under my bed, so I stopped to worry about things I cannot control when I bought it.
So get this book to make you sleep better and keep up all the good work and let the positive energy get back in this game (fuck all this unfounded fear based on numbers that were never real to begin with; bankers & investors are just like any other criminal but just with suits and "reputations" so they can steal "big time").
