I keep on thinking of the movie Blast from the Past when I see this thread. Maybe the silos are full of vintage baseball cards and you will end up rich beyond all your dreams.

Not sure what the water table level is there, but the silos are almost always below them.

He's also not in AZ, he's in CA.

Same thing though, really.
They're normally 150 - 200' or so underground, which normally is well below the water table. With around 45 years of non-activity, the vast majority of these silos are flooded...

Update..... Looks like campjohn64 hit it right on the nose - because that's where the entrance was....

Encouraged on by a friend, I decided to make a night trip to this missile site - and I found what I was looking for..... Here's the entrance:

The problem is that fucker is sealed shut - A metal plate is wielded in place, and short of bringing in a blow torch there is no way of me getting in there......

We have plenty of silos left from WW2 and most are closed for a reason. Some weeks ago one exploded out of the blue prolly cause kids tried to enter it. Whats in these silos? Still live ammo? Cause in ours there is and being under water and rusty they trigger like hell.

you owe it to us all now to get inside and film it/ take pictures.

Don't risk the clink to check out something cool. Just find that site that sells the houses with bomb shelters and shit in 'em. Buy one and turn it into a swinging party pad worthy of the Rochard.
