OK people.... with a democrat controlled congress, which by the way is only going to grow stronger this election for open congressional seats, a republican president wont get shit
done... 8 years of clinton worked out pretty well, 8 years of bush (with a 1/2 rep controlled congress) didnt... time to try something different... :2 cents: |

Both danced around several questions, McCain totally avoided most with stories of his past. His past that did nothing, did not change anything, and has directly helped point us in the wrong direction on the things in did go for. Not saying Obama did all good, but McCain's list of doing anything is shorter than Obamas even though McCain has been around forever. |

Obama can't even speak? Perhaps you should watch the debate again. But this time, actually listen what the moderator asks and what each candidate actually answers with. Comprehend their answers (it's hard, I know) and realize that McCant gave very, very basic answers then quickly reverted back to the 'Back when I did this'. He is taking the focus off of the issue he is supposed to be addressing, and acting like he did some earth-shattering work in his past. When in fact, it's a smokescreen he is using to shield himself from not thinking on his own. The fact of the matter is, that McCant was so repetitive in what he was saying that I knew how he was going to begin each answer. It went something like, 'I don't think Senator Obama fully understands [insert issue here]. But, back when I [insert thinly related political experience here].' And the funny thing is, is that way too many people have their heads so far in the sand that they/you are completely oblivious to his circular political speak. |
