I've never understood sex.com - it's the best domain in the world but the site doesn't reach 10% of its potential. And the gay section is full of ads covered in tits and "See Jordan naked". Why?! LOL

do you have any idea what figure your 10% of potential brings in per month as a PPC engine vs. the tired banner farm of the late 1990's?

before winning the domain name back, http://press.sex.com , sex.com was a banner farm. as the internet bubble burst, banner traffic quality, interest and conversions began dropping dramatically.

building a PPC engine and relentlessly working to filter the 200,000 type-ins daily by country and adding several other SE's to the search result feeds has resulted in over 1500 advertisers, and revenue and traffic steadily increasing every day. and, we've only been at it for one year.

I think you guys have done a lot with sex.com in only one year, and I'm going to be advertising with you for a long time, but for the record when I go to gay.sex.com, all three banners have naked women. Of coarse all the text links are gay.

thanks ... and well, that is really up to the webmaster. if you run a gay banner on gay.sex.com you will get gay traffic. if you decide to run a "pill" sponsor banner on gay.sex.com, you will also get gay traffic.

we do sell "Run Of Site" banners that go all over the place - but usually this is for Popup-Stopper type products, gambling, toys, etc.

we only scrub SE text listings for relevancy on the page though. generally though, webmasters running gay sites will take banners on gay.sex.com.

looking at the page right now - i see three gay banners - Military Guy, Boy Fun Collection, and a dialer with a gay site.

ah, i see the issue now. our isp has had us up and down all day. when we are down, we have a templete sex.com site that "fills in" until we are back up. this semi-site uses "no result" listings. the banners you see that are not gay, or pills etc, but boobs and chicks, are actually running on "no result" search pages - which the entire site is when we are down.

we usually only do this Sunday night for software pushes, but today has been rough.
