Portfolio question - organisation
Hello,
I have a question from customer point of view when viewing a designer portfolio. Finally I have decided to update my portfolio, and among new stuff there are about 200 galleries. I did both picture and movie galleries for each design. Now comes the question : show both versions in portfolio, or show just one? To illustrate the case, here is a sample: Video gallery - http://als-design.com/tmp/ce/boobiesHD_05_vid Image gallery - http://als-design.com/tmp/ce/boobiesHD_05_pic Now .. putting 200 galleries in 2 versions, means 400 thumbnails and I don't know if it's worth of it - I guess no one is going to see all of them. I was thinking of showing only one thumbnail for each and below "Video gallery version" and "Image gallery version" text links. What would you think, as a customer ? Thanks for your feedback.

Damn fine work!!!
Id say its really up to you and your choice of bandwidth consumption. Its basically the same design. Either show them all or dont - i dont think not having them all visible will deter any potential clients. Your work speaks for itself.

You could find a program to do a screen cap, resize and create the html page for you ..

Thanks for the info.
Yes I know of a good site thumbnail generator, it's called WebSwoon - http://www.alcenia.com/webswoon/ . You can define the viewport area of the screenshot, format, include scrollbars, resize size , etc. Just back and let the program work for you Still organizing 200 thumbs is a bloody booooring thing..
