    White House opposes expanded copyright protection

    The Bush administration is opposing sweeping legislation granting it the ability to prosecute civil cases of copyright infringement.

    The legislation, backed by Hollywood, labor unions and manufacturers, sailed through the Senate Judiciary Committee, 14-4, on Sept. 11.

    Then people shouldn't bitch when there is nothing good to watch on tv, or at the movies, or on the net.

      wtf you live in a million dollar house and you want the tax payer to foot the bill for CIVIL (not criminal) copyright cases.
