Peaches, yeah no kidding. After I had 4 ER visits, 2 lancings of my hand, a fever so high I had a seizure, chewed my tounge off and almost died, they docs are like, "Oh you don't wanna lose your finger. Let's do this and that..." I'm like who fucking cares?? Cut the bitch off! It's a LIMB... Not a big deal to me, trust me. I slept for 6 weeks on the floor with one blanket. I still don't have any of my original belongings but WHO CARES. lol... I am "rich" with strength. Nothing can touch me anymore.

I don't want to open painfull wounds at all (au contraire), but when ever i see a thread with both Peaches and RRRed, I can't help but feel sad (especially now that I have a two year old of my own).

I hope you guys are back on your feet a little.

God bless you... for the record, there is no such thing as opening painful wounds... they are still open. Probably always will be... we now just have SKILLZ... It's a learning process on how to deal with it every minute of every day. I think I can speak on Peaches behalf that we LIKE when people bring it up. It's our opportunity to honor them and give our own selves a pat on the back for surviving and moving forward.

Thank you for your empathy... and when you see us, don't feel pain, feel love for your child and be reminded how precious life is... and kick anyones ass in that ever fucks with them.

Never worry about bringing it up with either of us... it doesn't work that way. We can't be reminded of something we never have 5 minutes to forget or put out of our minds.

Several of my friends would call me and apologize for talking so much about their kids during a dinner/party/lunch/etc. I explained that I LOVE hearing about their kids :) I love them and would never want them to feel uncomfortable about talking to me about anything.
