Pakistan Bombing and the Denial of a nation and president
over 50 people died and the damage from the blast is crazy.. Things are not looking great for Pakistan and its future
http://www.cnn.com/2008/WORLD/asiapc...ast/index.html anyways, 1 thing i think is wrong is that Pakistans president made an annoucement "These people are not Muslims" (check link above) Now my problem is who has the right to say that a person is not what they say they are when defining them based on their spiritual cause and religious idenitiy? isnt it subjective I could just as easily say "some towns in US that havent been educated and have never come into contact with modern civilizations are not christian because they do some backwards practices?" but they call themselves christian and for them those practices are based on their interpretation of the bible... so they have the right to call themselves christian...just a different section if anything Likewise , if these terrorists in the bombing are calling themselves muslim and saying that they are doing this for islam and their interpretation of it...i think the fact that the president is saying this shit means he doesnt understand a secular or free thinking society and is in denial of the problem. You can wash the problem aside or try to change people interpretations if its that big of a threat... just hating at the fact he is denying an issue rather than take this as an opportunity to confront it |

![]() He means that "No one should call themselves a muslim if they commit these acts, because these acts are an insult to the religion".

It was clearly state-sponsored terrorism by the US govt. See how quickly Bush jumps in, declaring it was Al Qaeda even before anyone claimed responsibility? Pakistan is anti-US and their troops have already been greenlighted to engage US troops that stray into Pakistan on the lawless Pakistan / Afghanistan border, which is being used for staging attacks by militants into Afghanistan. The US can't directly engage Pakistan because they technically have a democratic leader and they have nukes. This is about control of the Afghan poppy harvest - that sweet War On Terror dope.

He is obviously trying to distance regular Muslims from the extremists and who could blame him. |

Why would Al Qaeda do this? Especially about 1 week after Pakistan announced that it would open fire on US troops conducting unauthorized special ops in Pakistani borders.
Could this bombing actually have been conducted by the US and blamed on Al Qaeda to get more US support out of Pakistan?
