Any GFYers playing in the WCOOP $10M Main Event tomorrow?

Biggest guaranteed prize pool for online poker ever

    $5,200 buy-in, anyone playing?

I just took down a turbo 5-person sat for 70$ into the $320, 100-seat guarantee tourny later today. If I take down a seat there, I'll be in tomorrow going for the big cash

If someone wants to stake me I'll play
I won a 938 person $10 for $4K last month. But spending $5200 on a buy in is too much for me.

Well the $320 sat is starting in few mins now. Seems like I'll have to come in top 120 people or so to win a seat, out of about 2300.

                  Update:

Made it to first break. 1881 players left from the initial 2503 and my position is currently 392/1881.

Lost a big pot a few minutes ago unfortunately, my AK vs. QQ on flop of AQT, didn't manage to hit the straight. Otherwise would have been up a lot...

                  Hour 2, here we go

                    Update: I am eliminated

Pocket jacks, i re-raise from 450 to 1300 and get one caller. Flop 974 he checks, I check. Turn Q, he checks, I push all-in he calls.

He has Q9 offsuit for two pair and river no help.

I don't know how he even calls the pre-flop raise and re-raise with Q9 off though

I am no expert in poker but why check post flop here? Giving him freecard... You have an overpair of JJ... Would not raising his check post flop be a good bet?

Yes, I could have bet right there on the flop, though my thinking was I didn't want to scare him away just yet, wanted to suck as much out of him as I could be allowing him to bet hopefully on the turn then I'd raise. In this case, it didn't work out for me though.

However, I think had I pushed him all-in on that flop, he still would have called it with top pair (seeing as how he went and called a pre-flop re-raise with only Q9), then hit his turn and knocked me out anyhow.

I could have pushed all-in pre-flop, perhaps there he may have folded...maybe he wouldn't have. I'll never know
