Thomas Muthee visited Sarah Palin's Wasilla, Alaska church in June, laid hands on her and prayed, "Lord make a way, Lord make a way," according to the Republican candidate for vice president. Pastor Muthee got his start fighting witches, he says.

In "Transformations," a video recently removed from YouTube (but found 24min in here http://video.google.com/, Muthee took on "Mama Jane," an accused fortune teller from Kiambu, Kenya. After he broke "a spirit of witchcraft resting over the place," crime dropped and nearly every bar closed down.

Palin's speech on June 8, 2008 at the church was to honor graduates from the church's Masters' Commission. The church's regular pastor says the Commission believes American evangelicals will take refuge in Alaska in the coming "End of Days."

You are painting both faiths with such a large brush, but both have such a broad range of colours, its not really accurate to do so.

Want an example of 'Christians' killing? How about the Catholic church not accepting/allowing the use of condoms which in turn is causing many thousands to be infected and eventually die of AIDS in Africa. Need an example with guns/weapons? How about the wackjobs who were shooting doctors who performed abortions, or were firebombing abortion clinics in the 90s?

I also have to disagree with you about the Evangelicals not forcing their way of life on us. By getting in to the top levels of government and controlling policy they are able to do so. Bush did some damage to stem cell research as one small example.

Religion is a large part of a person's life. There is no way for it not to spill over in to decision making in politics.

Most of family is Catholic, I was told about Condoms and was told if I didn't use them I would be beat black. A couple family members had abortions. Some members of the church may have not liked it but life went on. You can find extremes in every religion, extremes in almost every home, theory, and idea in the world.

Christians didn't blow up abortion clinics, right to life people did that made up several religious backgrounds. Staying with this subject, it isn't Christians that are anti abortion laws, it's right to life people that make up every religion.
