Adult industry pool of money

During the last year, do you think the money generated overall has increased?

I'm not talking individual income, but industry as a whole.

I know by looking at the few publicly traded companies that have stake in internet porn that those companies are down from past years despite of increased number of people surfing the web.

Needless to say there are a number of factors that could have an impact on this such as economy, etc.

Is the overall gross intake of the adult industry in decline? Is it on par with the ever increasing amount of surfers? Is it what we expected it to be?

I personally think the free porn marathon we have been running as an industry the past several years has been a huge mistake and has cut profits to the industry as a whole to a fraction. Yes I'll repeat and stand by it.. a fraction.

The idea of selling porn content by giving away free porn content was/is a very stupid business model that has been developed and escalated over the years. There is a huge difference between a marketable tease and giving away the entire thing for the sake of gathering page views.

There is going to be an ultimate international framework that will change all of this. Its been a long time coming and when it arrives it'll hit the copyright violators before it hits the porn industry. But the foundation is coming where every civilized country will acknowledge in some degree that limitations should be set in place.

Thus, nowhere to hide offshore. The only reason we were able to get away with what we've done so far is because of this offshore loophole.
