Best Movie Of All Time

I would have to give my vote to The Godfather,
honorable mentions, The Godfather 2 , Scarface, Pulp Fiction , Reservoir Dogs , Sixth Sense, Gladiator . I am sure there are a ton I am forgetting about.

A Clockwork Orange, I think. Good contenders are Lost Highway, Wild at Heart, Sonatine, Natural Born Killers, El Mariachi, Battle Royale, Pi, Donnie Darko, Magnolia, Happiness and a bunch of other ones I can't think of right now.

Ditto. All good films.. DAMN GOOD FILMS (Don't forget Taxi Driver, and Goodfellas)

But Gladiator??? Are you fucking kidding me? That would have to be one of the worst films of all time.

hey, I have a deep affection for both of those movies....

I wrote a huge disertation on www.joblo.com on why Plan 9 isn't the worst movie ever made (the folks saying that have obviously never seen "Manos, Hands Of Fate" or "Samson Vs. The Supreme Dictator From Outer Space" (yes, I own both of those ;)).

I see a few excellent movies missing, especially Requeim For A Dream, Welcome To The Dollhouse and Glengarry Glen Ross

Fucking kick ASS movie.

But I have been into Batman Returns lately. I just can't stop watching it. Is it good or is it bad? I find it funny. But I hate it. And I love it.

Scarface is one of those movies I can watch at least once every year the Godfather as well. And I almost never watch any movie more than once.

I can't believe no ones added The Good, the Bad and the Ugly to this list. It whips the pants off 3/4 the movies you've mentioned.

My vote goes to Gummo or the classic Hell comes to Frog town starring Rowdy Rody Piper.

Both are best viewed on Acid.

I dig the starwars trilogy.
Also The shining - the one with Jack Nicholson is excellent.

I loved Gummo and didn't have acid ;)))
I've liked of all the stuff Harmony Korine has done (including his work with Larry Clark). My least favorite was Julien-Donkey Boy but for an artsy fartsy domga pic it wasn't bad....and to think the guy who played Julien also appeared in Trainspotting and Pearl Harbor...........
