I spent the last 3 months being Bob the Builder and have built out two 3000 square foot studio spots.
In the first studio the main room is 25'x60' and the 3 other rooms are 25'x25'. All of the rooms are doubled up on the drywall and insulated for sound proofing. Each door is filled with special sound deadening material.
I had two commercial grade 4 ton ac's and one 3 ton ac mounted on the roof.
I dug up 2 of the rooms with a jack hammer and put in self leveling concrete before laying in the wooden floors. The wooden floors are perfect and very photogenic.
I put in a shower and a kitchen with a reverse osmosis water purifier.
I ran a separate 20 amp circuit in the corner of every room. Each room has 4 separate circuits and the main room has 7 circuits.
This studio is built the way i would like it with nothing spared.
These are pics of 3/4 of one studio... I am still in the process of finishing the last room of this studio which will probably consist of a jail cell and a dungeon. The other studio is ready to shoot.
These pics are 3 weeks old, and I have been shooting consistently and have furnished it almost completely. I will add some stills from my shoots in my next post.
