Your right, TEVS doesn't convert videos in any format. You can upload FLV videos or hotlink wmv/mpg/flv videos from your server or the sponsors server.
You can also use embed codes, like perfect gonzo or youtube has.

Sortie just installed his tube cgi script on one of my domains for free and my designer was able to add a header , import a video and throw up the framework of a site pretty quickly with the default settings. There are still a few things we are trying to figure out to make it work the way I want. I wish I could see some other sites running it to get a few ideas beyond the default. I saw a couple sites running it that were very similar and another site that was completely unrecognizable as the same script.

Since I don't think I will be hosting the videos my self, atleast not for starters TEVS would be a good choice? I can still use sponsor flash-embedded videos and just regular mpg,vmw free hosted gallery videos and they will work as on www.tiavastube.com for example (although they host their own videos)?

I want this tube site to be quality, original ~10 word descriptions on the front page for each video and ~50 word descriptions on the clip page for each video. I guess any tube script can be customized to work with that.

Anyone know how much it would ~ cost to get a custom design and have it implemented into say TEVS?
