Journey, Cheap Trick & Heart

Anyone attended this combo-tour and if so, was it good?

I saw Journey back in the 80's. They put on quite a show.

The new singer of Journey is Arnel Pineda. I have been seeing him on Sunday nights for years at the Manila Hard Rock Cafe leading the band called Zoo. The guy went from living in the streets in Quezon City to replacing Steve Perry because he was found on You Tube by one of the existing Journey members!

Arnel sounds just like Steve Perry. I feel bad for him though! In the Philippines all the hot young Filipinas like him. Now all he can do is fight off fat middle-aged soccer and hockey moms.

No thanks. Saw Cheap Trick 25 years ago. Doubt it would be the same. The other two . . . never a fan.

who wants to go to a rock show to get depressed - they're old - if i want to reminisce i'll pull out the old album covers and remember them in their prime.

I went ahead and snagged tickets to it. Yeah, their prime is past but it's probably the last time I'd ever get to see any of them. I can count on both hands the number of concerts I've been to so I missed out on everybody when they were in their prime.

Hell, I'm an old geezer myself so if I smuggle in prune juice, I won't stand out!
