When I moved to Canada, the first thing I realized was that a man needs a good coat for the winters. I bought a M65 Parka (which will make you sweat unless the temperature is below freezing), and a pair of Sorel snow boots.

Martin; I see that kind of coat around Winnipeg all the time. So far only chicks though, but they look great in it. I'll keep you posted if I spot any actual guys wearing one. :D
