    I'm an idiot, small people please help

    Someone wants to buy a banner spot from me, and says:

    "I'll take it, send me over an IO."

    What the fuck is an IO? Does he mean an invoice?

    I know most of the responses will be smart as shit from people who don't know anything, but if anyone can help me out, I'd appreciate it.

      The only stupid question is the one not asked. Why not ask the buyer what he means by that. Dialects and slang are hugly different city to city, region to region and country to country.

          It comes from the Print media advertising world and somehow made the transition to online ads.

          It typically details the size of the ad, how long in runs for, any TOS etc...
